Japanese Sweet Potato Fries
(Daigaku Imo)



  • 1 Japanese Sweet Potato (about 220g)

  • 3 tablespoon Sugar

  • Cooking Oil

  • Black Sesame Seed


  • Wash sweet potato really well
  • Dry off sweet potato with paper towl
  • Cut sweet potato into strips
  • Place sweet potato into frying pan and pour cooking oil into frying pan until 80% of sweet potato are covered.
  • Set low heat When oil become hot, add sugar into frying pan and cook until sweet potato are thoroughly cooked. *Put chopstick or folk into sweet potato for check if it is cooked or not)
  • Take sweet potato out from oil and put it cooking bowl
  • Add black sesame seed and mix
