Japanese Sweet Potato Fries (Daigaku Imo)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Japanese Sweet Potato (about 220g)
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • Cooking oil
  • Black sesame

PREPARATION

  1. Wash sweet potato really well
  2. Dry off sweet potato with paper towl
  3. Cut sweet potato into strips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash sweet potato really well
  2. Dry off sweet potato with paper towel
  3. Cut sweet potato into strips
  4. Place sweet potato into frying pan and pour cooking oil into frying pan
    until 80% of sweet potato are covered. Set low heat
  5. When oil become hot, for sale add sugar into frying pan and cook until sweet
    potato are thoroughly cooked. *Put chopstick or folk into sweet potato for
    check if it is cooked or not)
  6. Take sweet potato out from oil and put it cooking bowl
  7. Add black sesame and mix
