Sake Steamed Chicken (Tori Muneniku no Sakamushi)

  • About 300g Brest Chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 120cc cooking Sake
  • 1 piece of Ginger – sliced


  1. Take out Chicken from refrigerator and coat chicken with salt and let sit for 1-2hours


  1. On medium heat cook skin side chicken until skin become golden brown
  2. Turn over the chicken and add ginger and sake and boil for a few minutes
  3. Reduce heat to low temperature and put cover on fry pan and cook for 15minute
    Let chicken sit in a fry pan with cover until chicken become room temperature
  4. Sliced chicken before serve
